It seems as if there is no shortage of new things to discover in Fortnite’s recently released Chapter 4 Season 1. If bringing in an entirely new island already wasn’t enough for players, there are new movement mechanics for characters, weapons, chests, in-game activities, and even a new vehicle to make the cut.
The vehicle in question is one that, many players have been waiting for; a dirt bike. Giving players a chance to finally drive something on two wheels, the dirt bike manages to bring traversal to a whole new realm in Fortnite, thanks to its inclusion. How to Drive a Dirt Bike in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1
If you’re looking to find a dirt bike in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1, there really isn’t ever one specific location to find them, at least not yet. You can typically find them at gas stations, major POIs, (points of interest), or at these sorts of pop-up tents, like those pictured above.
Dirt bikes hold up to two players; a driver and a passenger, and they actually allow both players to shoot weapons while on them. Additionally, similar to riding animals, players can also pick up items as well as loot chests, ammo boxes, tool boxes, and so on while on them too.

When it comes to actually drive a dirt bike, things aren’t too difficult at all, though it does take some time to get used to. To drive forward, simply push your left thumbstick up as if you’re walking. The rest of the handling controls are the same as walking too, with pulling the thumbstick down resulting in your character reversing the dirt bike.
You can honk a dirt bike’s horn with the down button on the D-Pad, powerslide or do tricks by holding the B/Circle button, and you can jump the dirt bike by holding the A/Cross button, by letting it go at your desired jumping power.
It’s very easy to do flips and tricks on the dirt bike simply by turning and spinning it when hitting large jumps. This will build up points which will typically apply to any challenges you currently have that require you to earn trick/skill points. There are a lot of tracks and ramps across the island, so be sure to utilize those as well.
