The brand new Harry Potter video game, Hogwarts Legacy, is set in the 1800s in the world-famous Wizarding World. With the release of the single-player game Hogwarts Legacy, players will be able to see the world of Hogwarts and Harry Potter from a whole new angle. This game will appeal to all Harry Potter enthusiasts since it features previously unexplored regions of the Hogwarts castle and boasts high-quality visuals.
However, despite there being a lot of positives about the game, fans were quick to point out that the cost of some upgrades was rather high. Unfortunately, in single-player games such as Hogwarts Legacy there are no veterans around to give you money when you are just getting started. Therefore, players have had to turn to other ways of making Galleons quickly in Hogwarts Legacy. In this guide, we explain how to do just that!

Galleon Glitch in Hogwarts Legacy
To begin this trick, you will need to already know the Disillusionment Charm in the game. You can get this Charm through the Secret of the Restricted Section quest. The Disillusionment Charm will turn you fully invisible in the game and allow you to sneak around Hogwarts and everywhere beyond. It’s almost like you have your own Invisibility Cloak, but without the discomfort of wearing a huge cloak!
Look around both Hogwarts and Hogsmeade for chests that are white, and have eyeballs on the top. They will lock when they see you (as you get closer), so you need to be invisible for this trick to work. Use the Disillusionment Charm when they can’t see you, so that they are still unlocked when you sneak up on them under the spell’s invisible cover. Every chest contains a whopping 500 Galleons, so opening all of these chests can quickly earn you a lot of money in the game. In fact, because Hogsmeade alone has 12 eyeball chests, you can earn 6,000 Galleons just from the town by itself! So what are you waiting for? Get out there and start opening chests to earn those sweet, sweet Galleons.
