Have you ever had a stranger disturb you in the middle of the night while staying in a hotel? I have, and it is incredibly irritating, especially when it’s in the middle of the night. I don’t know what would possess someone to do that, but I know one way we can find out. Here’s how to disturb the guest in the tavern in Overwatch 2‘s Halloween event.
How to Disturb the Guest in the Tavern in Overwatch 2’s Halloween Event
Overwatch 2’s Halloween event includes an assortment of challenges that players can undertake to unlock a few miscellaneous seasonal goodies. One of these challenges is titled “Knock Knock,” and it requires players to “disturb the guest in the tavern.” A bit on the vague side, but a simple objective if you know what you’re doing.

In order to accomplish this challenge, you’ll need to load up an instance of the Halloween game mode, Junkenstein’s Revenge: Wrath of the Bride. This game mode is set on a special seasonal version of the Eichenwalde map, and if you’ve played on that map before, you’d know that the attacking team starts the game in a tavern. That’s where you’re headed.
“Housekeeping!”
Once the game starts, you’ll need to fight your way through Junkenstien’s AI-controlled robots until you reach the far side of Eichenwalde, where the tavern is located. You’ll need to eliminate a certain number of robots before the tavern actually opens up, so be proactive and mop a few up on your way there.
Once the tavern opens, take the stairs up to the second floor and go around the corner to find a pair of doors. Stand in front of the door on your right and press the interact button to knock on it. You need to knock on the door four times in total, with each knock gradually growing louder, until the fourth knock causes the entire map to shake. Must’ve been a grumpy wizard in there or something.
After the fourth knock, you’ll complete the Knock Knock challenge, unlocking a special Halloween voice line for Kiriko for your trouble. If you forget to knock on the door and proceed past the tavern, just play the game mode again for another try. As long as the Halloween event is running, the challenge will be available.
