Nope.

Why does there have to be giant spiders as bosses or enemies in games? I mean, I get it, they are frightening. Oh yes, they are very frightening indeed. But why? Why? How to Defeat The Absconder in Hogwarts Legacy

Ok, so let us leave our arachnophobia on the side and attempt to defeat the meanest, baddest, and most terrifying spider in the game, The Absconder. You know things get serious when you have a “The” before your name, you must never trust someone with a “The” nickname. Free advice for you. Anyway, in order to defeat this enemy, you will need to hone your attention and abilities to prevent any incoming attack, as this spider has the ability to one shot you. Yes, it is that hard, specially if you lack the level to defeat it.

The best way to defeat this creature is to choose your spells wisely. There are some that are recommended. First, by using Expelliarmus, you will be able to increase your damage output, making the battle a bit shorter. If you use Glacius, you will be able to slow down the spider to be able to deal more damaging spells, such as Confringo and Incendio. These both will deal a decent amount of damage, with the latter being extra lethal thanks to the spider’s natural weakness against fire. Also, make sure to use Ancient Magic as often as you can, since this is the most powerful magic damage output skill you will be dealing during the battle.

Deal with its spider minions once they appear, and you will defeat The Absconder in due time. Just have faith and courage, it is really frightening, at least for me.
