Hogwarts Legacy has taken the gaming world by storm over the last couple of weeks. Despite it being delayed for few years, this game looks, feels and sounds great. In the game, there are plenty of side missions and quests for players to work on if they need a break from the main storyline. One of these quests is ‘Minding Your Own Business’, and involves a boss fight with the witch known as Cassandra Mason at the end of it. In this guide, we set out to detail how you can defeat her in battle!

How Do You Defeat Cassandra Mason?
If you want to beat this boss, you will first need to complete the preceding objectives in the ‘Minding Your Own Business’ quest. Next, you should know the spells Accio and Wingardium Leviosa, because this boss is tricky and will apparate/teleport frequently throughout the fight. Lastly, make sure to practice fighting a few trolls first, because Cassandra Mason likes to throw rocks — magically, of course.
To beat this witch in Hogwarts Legacy, you will want to trap her using Accio or Wingardium Leviosa as soon as possible. This will prevent her from teleporting away, and keep her locked in place for you to attack further. Use Basic Casts while she is immobilized to whittle away at her hitpoints. Additionally, make sure to deflect the rocks she tries to launch at you, and throw some right back at her if possible. You will need to have unlocked the Ancient Magic Throw for this unique move.
