Hogwarts Legacy is Avalanche Software’s addition to the Harry Potter universe. Originally created by J.K. Rowling, the Wizarding World now grows to include this separate story from the 1800s. Players will be left in awe at its powerful graphics, fluid combat system, and the many new places they can explore in the game. Defeating trolls in Hogwarts Legacy is no small feat. It requires a few spells used in quick succession to fully take it out. Here are the steps you need to use to eliminate a troll in Hogwarts Legacy.
- Firstly, use Basic Casts to slowly whittle down its health when you are able to. This will make it weaker.
- As soon as the troll picks up a boulder to throw at you, cast Protego. This spell will protect you from damage.
- The boulder will then bounce off of your shield and away from you.
- After that, there is a small window where you can use an Ancient Magic Throw to launch the rock right back at the troll.
- Lastly, repeat this process until the troll’s hitpoints are depleted and you defeat it.
