Gameloft’s life-sim, Disney Dreamlight Valley is a magical world for players to get lost in, spending hours upon hours foraging for items, questing, and just exploring the world. The game offers players a vast roster of Disney’s iconic characters to interact with, friend, and accept quests from.
One said quest is from the mighty sea with, Ursula, who tasks you with stealing some paper. Upon bringing it back, she then tasks you with crafting the Magical Scroll and Ink Kit. How to Craft a Magical Scroll and Ink Kit in Disney Dreamlight Valley
When it comes to crafting this highly sought-after kit for Ursula’s quest, there are a few things that you’re going to need to track down. There are 3 ingredients in total that make up the Magical Scroll and Ink Kit; the paper, which you would already have at this point, an Empty Vial, and lastly, 2x Purple Pigments. Now that you know what you need, let’s explain how to get those last two remaining ingredients from the list!
Empty Vial
- To get an Empty Vial, you’ll have to craft it using 3x Glass.
- To get Glass, you’ll have to craft it using 15x Sand and 3x Coal Ore.
- Finding Coal Ore is as easy as mining the big black rocks, and Sand can be dug up around Dazzle Beach.
- Once you have the Sand and Coal in tow, craft 3x Glass at a crafting station, and then an Empty Vial following that.
Purple Pigments
- Your last ingredient is the Purple Pigment. This is another item that has to be crafted and can be done so by collecting 8x Purple Falling Penstemons and Purple Rising Penstemons.
- The Falling version of this plant can be found in the Plaza, and the Rising one can be found in Peaceful Meadow.
- Keep in mind that these spawn at random, so if not found immediately, try coming back later.
- Once you’ve got all 8, then go ahead and craft those 2x Purple Pigments.

Crafting the Magical Scroll and Ink Kit
- Once you’ve gotten your Empty Vial, 2x Purple Pigments, and of course, your paper, it’s time to craft the Magical Scroll and Ink Kit!
- Head to a crafting station and go to ‘Functional Items” in order to craft the Ink Kit.
- Next, just return to Ursula to complete the quest!
