How to Complete “Unfinished Business” Quest

Beware that before tackling the Unfinished Business quest, and pick up the sought after Deterministic Chaos, you will have to finish the Lightfall campaign. Once you do, head to the Hall of Heroes and talk to Nimbus in order to start the quest. You will have to collect some Cipher Qubits by defeating Vex and some Cloud Accretions as well. The latter can be found all across Neomuna. You will have to collect five Cloud Accretions that you will need to decipher, using, well, 8 Cipher Qubits for each of them. That means, we are up to some Vex hunting.

Afterward, head to Maya’s Retreat, a location past the Liming Harbor that you can see in the map below. You will have to retrieve a data package over there, and you will encounter resistance, of course. Get rid of all the enemies and pick up the packet.

Once finished, head to the Typhon Imperator by following your HUD marker. Get rid of the folks over there and head into the popping portal. Once through, you will have to defeat the giant Cabal called the Esteemed Incendior. Once you do, collect the Seed of Silver Wings, the quest item, on the platforms on the sides.

Arrive at the Black Garden and deal with any resistance you encounter. Shoot down the Vex Conflux Cubes. You will have to do some platforming, and you eventually arrive at the Undergrowth. You will encounter some Minotaurs, deal with them. Eventually, there will be some blocked ways due to a red energy shield. Just pick up the Arc Craniums and shoot at the reflective surface near the Shielded Conflux Cubes for the beam to bounce off and deactivate all.

Eventually, after arriving at the embrace, you will find the Deterministic Chaos. Pick it up and enjoy the rest of the mission, which is basically “use your new weapons to bring forth some destruction”. If you encounter another red energy shields, due the same as you would with the Arc Craniums but with the Deterministic Chaos. Once done, travel back to Nimbus in the Hall of Heroes and your quest will finish.
