Aside from that though, there are a lot of other great things that made their way into the game alongside Scar, quests. One specific quest that has been stumping players is the one given Scar himself, Nature and Nurture. In fact, it’s the very first quest you can take up in this brand-new update. So, if you need some help with it, let’s explain how to complete the Nature and Nurture quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley!

How to Complete the Nature and Nurture Quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley

In order to take on the Nature and Nurture quest from Scar, the very first thing you’ll want to do is talk to him at his lair, the Elephant Graveyard. This can be accessed through Sunlit Plateau. His first request is for you to return Sunlit Plateau to its former glory by restoring the river that once ran through it.

Once accepted, you’ll need to head to the Vitalys Mines located near the beginning of the river. You’ll need to find the camp within the Mines, which is located past a large rock bridge at the entrance, and then past a board with a note on it.

Your task is to clear a barrage of Night Thorns blocking the river from flowing. You’ll need to head back to Merlin will ask you to make the needed Root Beer required to get rid of those pesky Night Thorns. The ingredients include vanilla, sugarcane, and dried ginger.

You’ll then need to head back to the Mines and to a barrel near that board you interacted with add that Extra Fizzy Root Beer you made, along with some Crackling Candy, and the river then begins to flow. After that, you’ll need to head through the portal that opens and grab glowing orb that was dropped behind the Forgotten creature and break the rocks keeping you from progressing.

Head back through the portal once more to return to Dreamlight Valley and speak to Merlin. You’ll give him the orb at which point he’ll explain that you’ll need an elixir in order to power it up. The elixir in question is the Miracle Growth Elixir. This can be created by mixing 10x Vitalys Crystals, 10x Rich Soil, and 1,000 Dreamlight.

Dreamlight and Rich Soil are pretty common to come by in Dreamlight Valley, but if you need help with the newly introduced Vitalys Crystals, we’ve got you covered right here!

Once everything has been collected, head to a workbench to craft the elixir and then return to Merlin for the last time. To tie things up, you’ll need to plant the Orb of Nurturing in the glowing purple pillar in Sunlit Plateau. This is on the edge of the river in the southern location. Just dig a hole near it and plant that Orb to complete the quest.

You will need to upkeep its growing by watering it but aside from that, that’s all there is to know about how to complete the Nature and Nurture quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley! Be sure to check out our other great guides on the game to be kept up to date on how to play!
