There is no other life sim game just as special as Gameloft’s Disney Dreamlight Valley. There’s a great balance to its “grind”, where you typically don’t really even feel it, nor do you really mind looking for things during its scavenger hunt-esque quests. The new update that just came to the game, Scar’s Kingdom, has brought a lot of great new things to Dreamlight Valley, including some quests, a Star Path, and even brand-new resources.
One such awesome new resource is the gem called “Vitalys Crystals”. Though it’s not really a valuable gem, it’s one you’re going to want to keep on your radar when it comes to mining. Where to Find Vitalys Crystals in Disney Dreamlight Valley
So, before we get started on their location, it’s important to clarify what the point of mining for Vitalys Crystals is. Are they valuable? Well, they aren’t very valuable as they only sell for 14 Star Coins, but they do serve a unique purpose we really haven’t seen from gems. You see, the Vitalys Crystals can be used to craft both the Miracle Growth Elixirs and the Even More Miraculous Growth Elixirs that come into play a bit down the line at the request of Merlin during questing.

If you’re looking to mine these greenish-blue beauties, you’ll need to head to Vitalys Mines. But where is that exactly? It’s a brand-new location that’s near the area where the river starts in the Sunlit Plateau. Once you’ve entered the Vitalys Mines, you’ll be able to mine the gems with your pickaxe from a new set of rocks that sport some rockin blue and black veins throughout them. These gems, like other ones, can be mined from the randomly placed rocks strewn throughout the Mines and will drop you a few of the Vitalys Crystals per rock as you do so.
