They always seem so simple after you’ve completed them, but sometimes it comes to a point where you just need to look it up. One important thing to note is there are a couple of different “layouts” for the Research Camp. For this one, we’re looking for Sudowoodo outside next to the firepit.

To get Trubbish into the center of the Research Camp, you’ll need to throw an Illumina Orb at the Crystabloom near Sudowoodo. If it is close enough, Sudowoodo will get illuminated and begin dancing to the center of the camp. Shortly after that, Trubbish and Rattata will join in on the fun. Trubbish is the slower of the bunch, so be patient for it.

Once all three (Trubbish, Rattata, and Sudowoodo) are in the center, play a melody to watch them dance. Your focus here should be on Trubbish. Snapping a picture of a dancing Trubbish is an automatic 4-star, whether it’s facing your direction or not. So, snap that picture and exit the research camp to hand in your beautiful 4-star Trubbish photo to wise old Professor Mirror.

If you’re like me, you didn’t get a perfect picture, but hey, at least the request is complete, right? Well, if you want a better view, it’s all about activating the Crystabloom on Sudowoodo as quickly as possible. Do some experimenting now that you know how to complete this and maybe you can figure out a way to get the perfect shot. That’s what New Pokemon Snap is all about!
