How to Complete Death from Above in Warzone 2.0 DMZ

Watch out below

In Modern Warfare 2.0, the new free mode of DMZ is an extraction open-world playing as a soldier who is tasked to complete contracts, find supplies and finish Missions. These Missions are part of three Factions: White Lotus, Legion and Black Mous. Offering 5 Tiers for players to attempt and after completion, are rewarded with various items. From large sums of XP to weapons, contraband and blueprints. DMZ feels like the return of Modern Warfare 2 (2009) Spec Ops Missions. In White Lotus Tier 2 ‘Death from Above’ asks players to obtain an Airstrike and use it. Sounds simple enough right? But there are no Killstreaks in DMZ. This is how to complete the White Lotus Mission ‘Death from Above’ in DMZ.

‘Death from Above’ Mission Summary

‘Death from Above’ has one of the more simpler objectives to complete for this Tier 2 White Lotus Mission. The objectives are as follows:

  • Buy a Precision Airstrike.
  • Use it to kill 10 enemies.

Sounds simple enough. But it is far from it. The problem with this Mission lies in the limited Buy Stations you can visit which stock the Precision Airstrike. We cannot help you with any Buy Station locations either as its stock is randomized meaning that players will purchase the Airstrike from a different Buy every time. Not only this but with a pricing of $12,000, the ‘Death from Above’ Mission just got a whole lot harder.

Buying the Precision Airstrike

As the main objective is buying the Airstrike and using it, we recommend living in a car for this Mission. You want to be moving regularly around the map, checking every nearby Buy Station for the Airstrike. Going about this Mission on foot is the wrong way to go and will lead in an incredible long Mission to complete. Therefore, find yourself a vehicle immediately so that you can travel around the map with ease. This will also limit bullets being fired at your vehicle and yourself. Giving you more than enough time to pull up, check the Station and move on.

The best way to get the money is to complete Contracts. Alternatively, you can loot money inside Cash Registers and Supply Crates, similar to gaining money in Warzone BR. You can also sell high-value items at the Buy Station.

Getting 10 Kills with Precision Airstrike

This is another tough task to complete as it is rare that you will find 10 enemies in one small location to utilize the Airstrike. Therefore, you may be required to purchase multiple Airstrikes, making this Mission last longer than you were originally anticipating. However, the important part is that you do not need to get 10 kills at once, meaning that you can slowly build up the kill counter to complete the Mission.

We recommend waiting for Helicopters which carry enemies to spawn into the map. These can be found during Raids in locations such as the Airport and you can find a lot of enemies spawning in Hafid Port. What you need to do for targeting Helicopter spawns is to wait until it is about to land and send in the Airstrike. This will kill all on board before they could out of the Chopper. This should get you 5-10 kills depending on how lucky you are.

As soon as you get 10 kills the Mission will end and you can move on to the next White Lotus Tier 2 Mission. That is how to complete the ‘Death from Above’ Mission in Warzone 2.0 DMZ.
