How to Complete Dealmaker in Warzone 2.0 DMZ – Mission Guide

Breathing new life into random loot

As Activision love getting their playerbase to go to the ends of the DMZ Maps in search for random items, they are putting their previously useless objects to good use by adding these to Missions Objectives. Whilst some items are already deemed valuable, others that previously had no purpose has now been granted some by the means of completing specific Missions for the new Redacted Faction in DMZ Season 3. From Dog Tags being important pieces of a player’s identity, to the random loot of Electric Drills and the multi-purpose Gas Can now being a crucial item to find in DMZ. This is our full guide on how to complete the Redacted Tier 1 Mission, ‘Dealmaker’ in Warzone 2.0 DMZ.

How to Complete ‘Dealmaker’ Mission in DMZ

Where to Find Electric Drill, Gas Can and Golden Skull

For a Tier 1 Mission, this one can be tough. The reasons for this is that you are doing a ton of looting in a single deployment as you are required to have all 3 items in your Backpack at once to count towards the Objective. You need to find a Gas Can, Electric Drill and Golden Skull. We highly recommend that you go to Al Mazrah to complete this Mission as you are more likely to obtain the Gas Can and Electric Drill here. When searching for these items however, you should open Toolboxes. The specific named location we recommend for this item is Mawizeh Marshlands (G4). You should look the construction sites and circular structures in this area. We have highlighted this below in the screenshot.

Electric Drills can also be found inside Houses, on top of furniture, outside of the Toolbox. So this is another method of looting that you can do if you are unable to locate the Drill inside the Toolboxes in Al Mazrah.

For Gas Cans, unsurprisingly, your best bet is to go to Gas Stations. These are found throughout the Map and highlighted by their Gas Station Icon. You should find a Gas Can relatively easier than your search for the Electric Drill. Finally, to find the Golden Skull, you need to open those dreaded locked spaces throughout Al Mazrah. We recommend the Sunken Ship Thief Cache (E8), but of course, you are required its Special DMZ Key to open. The Skeleton Key is an option for players tired of obtaining those specific Special DMZ Keys. But as this can only be crafted and with items that are hard-to-find – Cassette Recorder, Vintage Wine and Hard Drive, players may want to try their luck for the Golden Skull the gold old fashioned way of looting in DMZ.

Alternatively, Golden Skulls can be found on Air Supply Drops, but keep in mind that you are risking your survival further by attempting to loot these for the Skull, especially if you are playing DMZ solo.

How to Trade for Backpack at Buy Station

To Trade you need to utilize the new Barter System for DMZ Season 3. This is located at any Buy Station and is the final option in the Main Menu. Hit Barter and go to your Backpack, this should be the only one highlighted on the screen. You can see that you have all the items needed for the ‘Dealmaker’ Mission inside via the 3 green slots underneath your Backpack Icon. Trade the Backpack in by interacting with it under the Barter Menu and you will have the new, Secure Backpack obtained via the Trade from this Mission. Upon Trading, the Mission will end and you can move onto the next Mission for Redacted Faction.
