Here’s the seasonality, active hours, location, and selling price of the Giant Stag in ACNH.

  • Bug: Giant Stag
  • Seasonality: July – August
  • Active Hours: 11 pm – 8 am
  • Location: Trees
  • Price: 10,000 Bells

Here’s one bug you will need to add to your Critterpedia starting next month. The Giant Stag is available from July through August and is worth 10,000 Bells. You can find this one in any weather.

The Giant Stag can spawn on any tree and is not just limited to Palm Trees like the Horned Dynastid and Cyclommatus Stag. Its location makes it easy to find on your island, so you don’t need to worry about traveling somewhere with a lot of Palm Trees.

One thing that may make catching this bug difficult is its late-night spawn time. You can only find the Giant Stag after 11 pm up until 8 am. Another thing to consider is that this bug scares away easily. To catch one, hold A to walk up to it very slowly. If it becomes alert, stop moving for a second or two and then proceed to inch closer.

When you’re in range, swing your net and catch yourself a Giant Stag. Other beetles can show up during the same month and time of day, so be on the lookout for a large one. In case you’re unsure of what one looks like, refer to the image below.

That’s everything you need to know to go out and catch yourself a Giant Stag. Good luck!
