Horned Dynastids can be spotted during the summer months of July and August in the Northern Hemisphere. If you are in the Southern Hemisphere, you can add six months to that, which makes it available in January and February. The beetle is found on trees but is not exclusive to Coconut Trees like the rare Horned Beetles and Stags.

The Horned Dynastid can scare if you try to run up to it too quickly. However, it is not scared as easily as the Giraffe Stag, for example.
