The Firefly is only available during June, so now is a good time to try and catch one. You can catch a Firefly anywhere on your island, but only during the month of June and at night. These are fairly easy to catch, so you probably will not have any difficulties.

Look out for a glowing bug flying around your island, and you got yourself a Firefly. All you need to do to catch one is walk up to one of them and swing your net. Be sure that you are in range, and that’s all there is to it.

Again, the Firefly is one of the few bugs that are leaving at the end of June. In addition to this one, you will want to look out for the Common Butterfly, Yellow Butterfly, Peacock Butterfly, Ladybug, Violin Beetle, Pillbug, and Centipede.

Other new bugs available during the month of June include the Drone Beetle, Rainbow Stag, Goliath Beetle, Mosquito, and Emperor Butterfly.

I hope this guide helped you learn how to get yourself a Firefly in Animal Crossing New Horizons!
