What Do You Need to Be a Soul Reaper in Type Soul
The first thing you should know about choosing your own path in Type Soul is that once you take it, it’s very hard to change it afterward. A switch between paths requires you to have a Soul Ticket which is generally very hard to find. This just goes to show that the game takes your choice seriously and you should too so before proceeding with this process make sure that Soul Reaper is definitely your choice.
Becoming Soul Reaper actually isn’t that challenging and you need to complete a couple of formalities before you become one. The first thing you need to do is die. Yes, your character needs to die so it can respawn as a Lost Soul.
Once you are a Lost Soul, you can proceed to the next step which is looking for NPC Kisuke in Karakura and talking to him about becoming a Soul Reaper. To locate him you’ll need to find a tunnel that will, after you go through it, lead you to high platforms. On one of the platforms, you’ll find Kisuke.
After talking to Kisuke you’re officially a Soul Reaper and you’ll spawn in Rukongai as a Trainee. Make a party with other players, find the mission board, and start completing quests to become stronger!
