How to Beat Sisters of Parvos in Warframe

Talk about a sibling rivalry.

Speaking as someone with an older sister, I’ve had my fair share of sibling rivalries over the years. When you have to compete for parental approval, things can get pretty cutthroat. Of course, that’s just in the metaphorical sense. In Warframe, the Sisters of Parvos would probably like to cut your throat in the literal sense. Here’s how to beat Sisters of Parvos in Warframe.

How to Beat Sisters of Parvos in Warframe

Sisters of Parvos are a special subset of enemies you can encounter in Warframe, introduced after completing the quests “The War Within” and “Call of the Tempestarii.” Sisters are kind of like AI-controlled bounty hunters, seizing a portion of a mission map and swiping rewards from the Tenno (i.e. you, the players). While you don’t need to beat them to clear a mission, if you don’t, your rewards will be significantly reduced.

The tricky thing about Sisters is that they’re imprinted on individual Tenno. Nobody can defeat a Sister except for the Tenno they’re linked to, and even if you are the one they’re linked to, they sure as heck won’t make it easy for you.

Defeating a Sister

While you can battle a Sister during a mission like you would any other enemy, draining their health won’t defeat them. When a Sister’s health runs out, she’ll begin rapidly recovering, at which point she’ll flee the scene. It’ll likely take you multiple missions worth of encounters with the same Sister before you can deal with her permanently.

The linchpin to the Sisters’ weaknesses are their Hounds, the quadrupedal robots that patrol their established territories. When you encounter a Sister on a mission and destroy one of her Hounds, you’ll receive a Requiem Murmur. Collect a certain number of these, and the Sister’s weakness will be revealed on her status page. Every Sister can only be defeated by three specific Requiem Mods, which you’ll need to figure out and equip before confronting them. Unfortunately, the Murmurs don’t reveal the precise order you need to equip the Mods in, so even after you know all three, you’ll need to employ a bit of trial and error.

When you attack a Sister with the correct Mod setup, you’ll need to drain her shield all the way, then perform a Mercy to remove one of her three health bars. If you can break all of her health bars, she’ll flee the scene again, but you’ll be able to track her to a special mission in Neptune Proxima titled Sister Confrontation. You’ll need to defeat the Sister’s specter and Hound bodyguards before you can fight her, but once you drain her remaining health bar, that’s all she wrote.

Once you have a Sister at your mercy, you can choose to Vanquish her to get her weapons and Hound, or Convert her to get her assistance on missions. Either way, you’ll also receive all of the rewards she swiped from you during her mission appearances.

Sisters of Parvos aren’t just plain ol’ enemies, they’re full-time nemeses. If you want to get one off your back, you’re going to need to commit a lot of time and strategizing to doing so. This isn’t just sibling rivalry, this is a sibling war.
