How to Beat Monochrome Tactics Bosses in Super Bullet Break

Boss 1 Ruy Lopez

Ruy Lopez is the kind-hearted Hero of the Monochrome Tactics story. In Super Bullet Break she is corrupted by the Buggos and had turned into a meanspirited bully. You have to defeat her and save her from her data corruption. Ruy is a pretty good boss for a first-time dive into the game. She doesn’t have many special abilities and focuses mostly on attack power or upping her damage. As long as you focus on keeping up your Armor and Shields and do big attack damage combos, you should knock her out quite quickly.

Ruy has 265 total HP and can heal up to 10 points instead of attacking. It takes usually 15 to 20 moves for it to become her turn and she battles alone.

Boss 2 The Black King Duchtoli

While clearly a ruthless demonic power, the Duchtoli, known as the Black King to her enemies and subordinates, seems to have a deep underlining passion and care. What you’ll want to look out for the most with The Black King is when she summons two high-level creatures, always a knight buggo and a rook buggo, and get rid of them as quickly as possible. The rook will fortify defense and then double it’s attack while the knight can use buffs and get to high attack damage as well.

As for the Black King herself, she can do more buffs and spells that can affect her or your Bullet cards. However, if you focus on debuffing or high defense when it’s her turn to attack instead of powering up, you can keep her from doing too much damage to you. The Black King has a total of 420 HP and can take anywhere between 15 and 30 moves to become her turn. With her minions involved before you defeat them though you’ll have a harder time building up a proper defense against her. Wipe the buggos out quickly so you can put more focus on holding her off.

Boss 3 Singulalady Nami

The main source of all trouble in your games, causing the glitches and keeping you from playing them are the Singulaladies. Powerful corrupted data infecting your favorite games and the whole reason you’re investigating to defeat them and save your data to play another day! The first Singulalady you come across is Nami. Nami is a bit of a flashy fairy-like woman with a short temper.

Nami seems to have every magic trick in the bag, buffs for her, debuffs for you, using shields and depowering or hiking up the cost of your Bullet cards. She doesn’t summon any buggo minions but if you don’t watch yourself you’ll find some of your Bullets useless if you use them at the wrong time. Her dense bar of 627 HP makes it a long and difficult journey to dwindle her down to zero. This combined with her defense abilities is hard enough. The fact she can jump her damage anywhere between 15 and 57 makes her attacks scary if you don’t properly defend against them.

There is no doubt that Nami is designed for you to fail the first few times unless you’re just that good at adapting to new games quickly or getting some very powerful cards early on. Your best bet is to learn her patterns and by the time you get to her from 3 maps of deck building have some very devastating combos that keep her high attack at bay and constantly chipping at her deep defense.
