However, thanks to certain professions, you will be able to customize them in order to get the best power and stats from them. How to Add Sockets to Necklaces

I will try to not get as convoluted as I usually do. We will talk about endgame necklaces, the best of the bunch. For them, you will be able to add up to three sockets. As you may be thinking, this is all thanks to the Jewelcrafting profession. While you can add up to three sockets, this all depends on the quality of the necklace itself. A level 385 necklace will only get one socket, a level 400 one will get two, and a level 415 necklace will be able to get three.

In order to add sockets to neckclaces, Jewelcrafters will need to know how to craft a Tiered Medallion Setting. To be able to craft it, you will have to invest 30 Specialization Points into the Settings skill of Jewelcrafting. After that, you will earn the ability to craft Tiered Medallion Setting, with a quality levels of 1, 2, and 3. Use the quality Medallions according to the existing sockets in the necklaces. If the necklace does not have any sockets, use 3 Tiered Medallion Setting, starting with quality 1, all the way to quality 3. If a necklace has one socket, then use a quality 2 Medallion, and then a quality 3 on. And so on and so forth.
