There are a couple of things that could be happening when trying to play a specific game in Roblox, both in your side and on Roblox’s. There may be a connectivity issue, version mismatch, random page bug or glitch, or even the servers are down. Follow the steps below to know how to fix “Error Starting Experience” in Roblox.

  • Refresh the game’s page. This can fix the issue most of the time.
  • Restart your system, this can solve some connectivity and conflict issues.
  • Check your internet connection. Be sure that your internet connection is active and, if it is, then restart your router. Be sure to be using an Ethernet cable if playing on a PC in order to maximize connectivity and prevent any issues.
  • Verify that Roblox is allowed to have a connection in your firewall or antivirus. Allow the app to connect to the internet, or disable the firewall or antivirus altogether.
  • Be sure that you are running the most up-to-date version of Roblox. Sometimes, several games are dependent on your version of Roblox to even work. So, if you are running an old version, update as soon as possible.
  • Finally, there is a possibility that Roblox servers are currently undergoing an outage or maintenance. Be sure to check the server status here.
