Like many horror games, Demonologist has its fair share of secrets. One of the most famous Demonologist secrets is the Hospital Hole, but there are many other secret easter eggs in this game that the majority of fans have yet to find! Keep reading to learn more about the Hospital Hole and all of the other map secrets in Demonologist!

Hospital Hole in Demonologist

Few maps in Demonologist are as scary as the Hospital map. This map is terrifying to navigate, but what makes it worse is the giant, demonic hole located in one of its walls!

On a particular wall in Demonologist’s Hospital is a black hole surrounded by demonic runes that appear to be written in blood. It’s undoubtedly creepy to look at, but many fans have tried and failed to figure out what its actual purpose is, if it even has one. Thankfully, that question has finally been answered!

According to the game’s developer, the Hospital Hole in Demonologist is a subtle reference to Silent Hill 4. If a player says a special phrase relating to Silent Hill 4 out loud in front of the hole, they’ll be greeted by a terrifying surprise!

Other Map Secrets in Demonologist

There are currently only 3 maps in Demonologist, though a 4th one is currently being worked on by the developers. The only real “map secret” in Demonologist’s Hospital map is the Hospital Hole, but there are a few other map secrets in Demonologist’s other maps that few players know about!

The game is still fairly new, so there are only a handful of easter eggs that have been found at this time. However, there are still enough to be worth getting excited over! Here are all of the uncovered easter eggs and map secrets in Demonologist:

Cyclone St.

  • When approaching the television in the Cyclone St. house, players have a small chance of triggering a random, spooky occurrence. If you’re lucky (or unlucky), the black-haired demon girl from The Ring (Samara/Sadako) will crawl out of the television set and begin to chase you!
  • If you go upstairs and look in the coat closet, you’ll find an expensive handbag on a shelf with the word “LUST” on it. If you repeat the word “LUST” out loud while standing in the closet, a severed head will appear next to the bag. For those who are unaware, “lust” is one of the infamous 7 deadly sins, which this map secret is surely a reference to!

Abandoned House

  • If you walk into the back of the Abandoned House and flip on the light, you’ll be greeted with a subtle reference to the “haunted mansion” attraction at Disneyland. The room’s shape, size, paintings, and library are all references to one of Disneyland’s most iconic rides!

This is definitely one of the more tame map secrets in Demonologist. If you’re a big Disney fan, then you have to check out this room in the Abandoned House map!
