High on Life: How to Open the Luglox in the Security Checkpoint at the Labs

The one time they actually try to lock it up...

It seems like Lugloxes are the primary means of stashing valuable stuff in High on Life, which is why it’s weird that most of them seem to just be sitting out in the open for anyone to loot. Though, in fairness, if you put one in a locked room, that just makes people want it more. People like us. Here’s how to open the Luglox in the security checkpoint at the labs in High on Life.

As you make your way to Skrendel Labs in pursuit of the Skrendel Bros. in High on Life, you’ll pass through a security checkpoint breaking up the wilderness from the lab proper. If you check your radar, you’ll see that there’s a treasure reading nearby. Sure enough, there’s a Luglox, but it’s locked up in a small room. There’s a button nearby, but all that does it shut off the giant spinning death fans outside. So how do we get at the loot here? Easy: rub your hands all over someone else’s computer.

Around the security checkpoint are a handful of computer monitors. Each of these monitors can be interacted with, cycling through a few miscellaneous screens as you do. One of these screens is what appears to be an x-ray of a Luglox, with a symbol of a lock next to it. You need to go to every monitor in the room and interact with them until they each show this x-ray screen.

When they all show the screen, you’ll hear a beep, and your Gatlian will inform you there’s a Luglox nearby. Sure enough, the door has opened, allowing you to slice open the Luglox and claim the goody within: a Beyond the Stars II #1 trading card!

There’s lots of treasure to be found in High on Life, though you should probably know where to find something sharp to open them up first. Once you’ve got some cash, don’t forget to buy some upgrades for your suit and guns! And hey, you know what’s full of valuable knowledge? Our Facebook page!
