Green Hell: How to Boil Water

I though green hell was eating broccoli.

No, you won’t make it in the wild, and neither will I. We have made this specially clear. If you are not mauled and eaten by the wild animals, then you will probably die of hunger or even thirst. And that last one is the one that causes most desperation, other than knowing that you will never get rescued of course. Don’t worry, we won’t have to take the Bear Grylls route and drink your own, well, water production, if you know what I mean. We will do something better, and less disgusting. Here is how to boil water in Green Hell.

How to Boil Water in Green Hell

Living a green hell in Green Hell surely is something horrible. And, in order to survive, you need water. Not just any water, but water safe for human consumption. That is where boiling comes in, which will get rid of bacteria and parasites that can potentially be plaguing the water in the wild. Anyway, the first thing you want to do is collect some coconuts. They will appear green and hanging from palm trees. Once you get a hold of them, you will need an axe of any sort to open it up. You will be able to drink its water to get some hydration. However, you can hit the coconut again to collect coconut flesh and two coconut halves. You will get to use the halves to collect water, however don’t drink it yet. With the coconut half filled with water, put it on an active fire. It will boil the water and successfully let you drink it, without any consequence.

Afterward, you will be able to use a water collector or even a water filter in order to automate the water collection and purifying process. However, as of now, using those coconuts will be your best shot to get some water that won’t kill you in the process. Sounds quite motivating, really. Good luck with those fruits, my friend.
