Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 2 is set to conclude on June 4th and it appears as though the popular battle royale is set for another massive live event to cap off the season. While nothing has been confirmed, Epic Games has dropped a few hints for what fans can expect to see in the coming weeks.
Here’s everything you need to know about Fortnite’s recent teaser and what we could see for the end of season event.
Fortnite Teases Fan Favorite Bear Robot – Hints at End of Season Event
On May 17th, Fortnite’s official Twitter account released the first hint of what’s to come. Posting a video clip of what sounds like an important character from The Resistance.
In the short snippet, you can make out what sounds like female characters commanding players to get to their battle stations. Before the video cuts out with an unmistakeable logo of a mechanical bear, otherwise known as the Mecha Team Leader (or the Bear Robot).
Here’s the full clip.
At the time of writing, not a whole lot is known about the upcoming live event. Other than the official tweet from Epic Games. However, recent leaks have noted the construction of a huge IO doomsday device. Which has reportedly been set up near Loot Lake. Similar to the device built by Midas in Chapter 2, Season 2.
The last time we saw Mech was when he was battling it out with the Devourer monster back in 2019. Who he ultimately defeated. With the final scene showing Mech and its pilot, Singularity, blasting off into space never to be seen or heard from again.
Or so it seemed…
Now, years later, it appears that Mech has finally returned to help settle the ongoing conflict between the IO and Seven. Some even believe that Singularity is actually the lost Seven member Paradigm. Who hasn’t been featured in the game since 2019 (conveniently).
With the clock winding down to Fortnite’s latest season finale, it’s only a matter of time before the truth is revealed. For now, stay tuned and get ready for what’s expected to be an epic end of season live event.
