Fortnitemares is underway, and players also have a new set of Fortnite Season 4 Week 9 challenges to work through. If you haven’t tried out Fortnitemares Battle Royale yet, get ready to haunt players if you get taken out early. As always, we’re here with a full list of challenges and walkthroughs to quickly complete all of this week’s tasks.
There are seven objectives in total for week nine. Most of them are straightforward, but we will provide full walkthroughs for all the quests down below. You may be unfamiliar with a few locations, especially the highest and lowest points on the map.
Fortnite Season 4 Week 9 Challenges Guide
Here’s all of the Fortnite Season 4 Week 9 Challenges:
- Search seven chests at Holly Hedges
- Get three eliminations at Slurpy Swamp
- Collect Floating Rings at Steamy Stacks
- Dance at the highest and lowest spots on the map
- Land at Sharky Shell and finish in the top 25
- Heal teammates with the Bandage Bazooka
- Knock-back opponents with Shockwave Grenades

Search seven chests at Holly Hedges
Starting things off, you can head over to Holly Hedges and search through seven chests to knock the first task off the list. There are lots of chests available, and you can refer to the map below for all of the known locations:
Get three eliminations at Slurpy Swamp
At this point, you’re familiar with the elimination challenges. This week you need to head over to Slurpy Swamp and get a total of three eliminations. We don’t need to explain much else for this one.
Collect Floating Rings at Steamy Stacks
Everyone’s favorite challenge is back. You need to collect some Floating Rings over at the Steamy Stacks location. There are five rings in total, outlined in the video below.
Dance at the highest and lowest spots on the map
Here’s one you might be stuck on. You have to dance at the highest and lowest spots on the Fortnite map. If you don’t know where those are, the highest point is down in the mountains south of Catty Corner, and the lowest point is at Coral Castle.
Land at Sharky Shell and finish in the top 25
Sharky Shell is on the far northwest area of the map. It is north of Coral Castle, and you may be familiar with the place from previous Fortnite seasons.
Heal teammates with the Bandage Bazooka
The task to heal your teammates with the Bandage Bazooka is simple, as long as you can find one on the map. You can likely find them in rare chests inside vaults. However, you can also find them randomly on the ground. We recommend loading up a Team Rumble and blasting some shots at your teammates to complete this one.
Knock-back opponents with Shockwave Grenades
Similar to the Bandage Bazooka quest, you have to find a Shockwave Grenade on the map and shoot them at your opponents. Once again, Team Rumble is the way to go for this one.
