If you haven’t checked out the new Loki series on Disney+, I highly recommend it. I always love a hearty dose of abstract timeline shenanigans, and Tom Hiddleston’s performance as Loki only makes it better. If you’d prefer to get your mischievous kicks elsewhere, however, then here’s some good news: Loki is on his way to Fortnite, and soon. So, when is Loki coming to Fortnite?
The official Fortnite Twitter made an interesting announcement on Friday, alongside an image of two golden, distinctly curved horns:
“It seems Mecha Cuddle Master wasn’t the only one who found their way to the Island. Looks like a trickster snuck his way through the portal and into the Fortnite Crew this July.”
So, it’s pretty open and shut: Loki will be coming to Fortnite some time in July as part of the Fortnite Crew subscription.
When is Loki Coming to Fortnite?
If you’re not aware, Fortnite Crew is an external subscription service to Fortnite. Those who are subscribed to it receive a free skin every month, along with a fat stack of V-Bucks, a few extra cosmetics, and a free(ish) entry into the month’s Battle Pass.
It hasn’t been revealed precisely when July’s Fortnite Crew pack will be available, but it’s probably a safe bet that it’ll be close to the beginning of the month, if not on the 1st precisely. As far as Epic Games has clarified, it looks like the Fortnite Crew pack will be the only way to obtain the Loki skin; he won’t be in the item shop, nor will he be a secret unlockable skin; that honor currently goes to Superman.
It also hasn’t been made clear which version of Loki the skin will portray. Most likely, it’ll be his typical attire with the green fur coat and horned helmet, though personally, I’m hoping for his TVA attire and jacket, because he looks fantastic in it.
