Fortnite Season 2 has brought many new weapons, items, and cosmetics into the game. Players have been able to get their hands on some new mythic items from the various vault locations around the map. There have been talks about one new item in particular that has been rather elusive, the Legendary Hunting Rifle.

The new hunting rifle is somewhat of a mystery as not many details have been released about it. The new weapon is confirmed to be available in Fortnite’s Limited-Time One Shot Mode and Playground mode.

It’s expected this new rifle will make its way into Battle Royale mode in the near future. At the time of writing this article, there has been no official confirmation of anyone finding the weapon in Battle Royale mode.

The new legendary hunting rifle is capable of doing 100 damage on a body shot, which is a step up from the 96 damage epic hunting rifle. This means the new rifle is capable of one-shotting to the body and easily one-shotting any player with a headshot.
