A new series of leaks has been dropped on the Fortnite community, potentially revealing another ICON Series skin. If accurate, it looks like LeBron James will be the upcoming ICON Series skin. For those not familiar with it, the ICON Series has already featured internet celebrities like Ninja and Loserfruit, along with pro athletes like Harry Kane and Neymar, not to mention musicians like Travis Scott.
Fortnite is no stranger to celebrity collaborations, so a LeBron James skin is undoubtedly a possibility. Famous Fortnite leaker ShiinaBR said that he has confirmation that LeBron James skin is the next ICON Series skin. And, considering the recent NBA Crossover event in Fortnite, we believe that this will be true.
When will the LeBron James Skin release in Fortnite?
Now for the ultimate question: when is LeBron James coming to Fortnite. Well, nobody knows when, exactly, we’ll see The King make his way into the popular battle royale. However, if we had to guess, we think it would make sense to tie in with the upcoming Space Jam: A New Legacy movie, which hits theaters in July 2021. The standalone sequel to the 1996 sports comedy film, Space Jam, featuring Michael Jordan, will star LeBron James.
That said, if we were to make an educated guess, LeBron James might make his way into Fortnite in mid-July 2021. As for how much the skin will cost to get your hands on, that’s another question. There’s a good chance the standalone LeBron James skin will cost 1,500 V-Bucks based on previous ICON Series skins. You can also potentially expect a LeBron James bundle with a price tag of around 2,500 V-Bucks.
