The week one challenges are upon us in Fortnite‘s new Chapter 2 Season 7. In the first week, players are presented with a five-stage legendary challenge that involves various tasks. We’ll be looking at stage three of five here, which entails finding some strange new technology. It turns out that the Imagine Order organization, or IO for short, have got their hands on some futuristic technology. In this guide, we’ll show you where to find all of the Fortnite IO tech weapons locations to complete the challenge.

Where to find IO Tech Weapons in Fortnite
You can find IO tech weapons in Fortnite by eliminating IO guards, looting them off the floor, and searching through chests. The IO tech weapons include:
- Recon Scanner
- Pulse Rifle
- Rail Gun
Land at any of the various IO tech facilities located all around the map, but some good spots are at Steamy Stacks and the base west of Dirty Docks. Any building that has guards around them will work perfectly for this challenge. Inside the IO buildings, you can find weapon crates that you can search through and guards you can eliminate. These crates contain the IO tech weapons that you need to complete this challenge.
Not every crate will contain IO tech weapons, but it’s your best shot at finding them. To complete this challenge, you will need to find three different IO tech weapons. Start searching through crates and eliminating guards until you collect all three different weapon types. Once you do that, the mission is complete, and you’ll move on to stage four of five in the week one legendary challenge.
