The fourth part of the multi-step legendary challenge from Dr. Slone in Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 7, is to place two Alien Light Communication Devices on Mountain Tops. Dr. Slone wants to do some alien communication, and you’ll need to help her out with this simple request. Luckily, this one is pretty straightforward. In this guide, we’ll show you exactly where to place the ALien Light Communication Devices on Mountain Tops in Fortnite.
As a side note, if you do not see this quest in your log, you’ll need to pick it up at a payphone and accept it from the dialogue options. After you pick up the quest from Dr. Slone, you’ll need to place some welcome signs at Pleasant Park and set up a couple of boomboxes at Believer Beach.
Fortnite: Where to place Alien Light Communication Devices on Mountain Tops
There are two mountain tops where you need to place the Alien Light Communication Devices:
- Southeast of Misty Meadows
- Southwest of Misty Meadows
Southeast of Misty Meadows
The first mountain top is southeast of Misty Meadows. We’d recommend landing here first, directly on the peak of the mountain. You’ll see a blue silhouette outlining where you need to place the devices. Interact with it to place the device and then slide down the mountain to the west side.
Southwest of Misty Meadows
The second mountain top is southwest of Misty Meadows. If you slide down from the previous location, you can simply run up the side of the mountain to find the next location. Otherwise, you can also just drop into this area from the battle bus; either option works.
After completing this step, you can back out of the match and move on to the next one. The next and final step of the legendary challenge is to find two crates of cat food.
