Where to find an Abductor in Fortnite

We’re still here in week four of Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 7, and a few new challenges have been unlocked yet again. Today, a couple of new Epic Quests are available for players looking to cash in on some battle pass experience. One of these quests asks you to deal 1,000 damage near an Abductor. It sounds simple enough, but where can you find an Abductor in Fortnite? We’re here to explain what an Abductor is and how to find them on the map.

In case you missed it, we have guides for the five-part Legendary Quest chain from yesterday. You still have some time to complete it, so check out our post in the Fortnite guides section for more information and a walkthrough.

Where to find an Abductor in Fortnite

Abductors are the large UFO icons on the Fortnite map that are visible in each game. The Abductors move around the map from game to game, except for the one at Believer Beach. The Believer Beach Abductor seems to be in the same place every game.

So, to find an Abductor, simply open up your Fortnite map and locate the large UFO icons.

How to deal damage near an Abductor in Fortnite

To deal damage near an Abductor in Fortnite, load into a match and land at any of the three Abductor locations. Search for some loot, and equip a weapon for yourself so you can do some damage. You will need to deal a total of 1,000 damage to enemy players. There are weapons and other loot scattered all over the Abductor, so that should not be a problem.

We recommend landing at an Abductor at the beginning of a match and fighting until there are no opponents left. At that point, you can back out and join a new game. Rinse and repeat this process until you’ve racked up 1,000 damage. Once that’s done, you can leave the game or work on some other quests for more experience.
