What is new in Season 5 Halo Infinite?

We already mentioned the popular Firefight mode is back with full support from the developers. There are new ways to level up in Halo Infinite as well, and that’s by gaining experience by playing custom games. You will also notice that the game has new maps that focus on Firefight mode.

You’ll be able to create enemies and drop pods, and you’ll have the ability to personalize your map by giving it a name. If you’re not sure what Firefight is, it’s a PVE mode with hordes, so if you like shooting down lots of enemies, you’ll love this mode.

Where to find Firefight in Halo Infinite?

If you’re trying to find Firefight in Halo Infinite, you need to look for a “custom game browser” and create a match. Once you have done this, you need to search for a map using the search filter and type in “Firefight“. After you have done this, choose a map, select the mode you want, and keep your lobby open for other players to join. This will allow you to create your own Firefight match with other players around the world.

If you don’t want to create your own Firefight match, you can always join one that’s already active. You can do this by searching for “Customs Browser” and clicking on a match that is already looking for players. Due to its popularity and it is a relatively new feature, there should be plenty of eager players to find.
