Fire Emblem Engage has been out since the 20th of this month, and with it, plenty of questions in how exactly to deal with certain aspects of it as a SRPG – be it planning ahead to tackle Maddening mode, or how to best build its units no matter the difficulty setting. We hope to give players a helping hand in how to dedicate the right amount of time and resources each of these 36 warriors up!
Fire Emblem Engage Tier List
Our list will be from the top (S tier) to the bottom (D tier) in our rankings. Remember that this is completely our own opinion – my playthrough will be different compared to everyone else’s.
Additionally, here is a breakdown of what each bracket represents;
S tier – Most necessary unit to build up and play as. Has great utility across the game, strong growth stats and quality, unique traits. Best to be put on the field for all chapters.
A tier – Solid unit. Falls short in the growth stats compared to S tier but are well worth using still for mostly being superior (or even the best) unit types compared to those in the lower tiers.
B tier – Mediocre across each and every department – not a loss in benching them or putting in the resources to build them up to their maximum potential. Also compliments characters in the higher tiers.
C tier – Mostly underwhelming. Characters in the same unit type above them in the other tiers outperform them across the game.
D tier – Best to bench them as they are completely outshined by other characters.
That’s our tier list for Fire Emblem Engage!
