Fire Emblem Engage – Best Emblem Ring Character and Weapon Matchup: Engrave Guide

That's a lot of stat boosting!

We have said it once before and we will say it again, Fire Emblem Engage has a lot of options to better equip your units with outside of battle. Taking place almost exclusively in the home world location of Somniel, players can boost Alear’s own stats, support conversations, make and share a meal with other units to also use in battle to replenish health, feed Sommie for additional bond fragments and even ride a Wyvern as its own mini-game of sorts. There’s plenty to do here, but a certain service takes precedence over everything else.

The Smithy offers key services such as Refining to improve weapon stats and Engraving that further boosts both the weapon and the wielder unit’s very own stats. It is safe to say that the general rule of thumb for Engraving is to equip a Emblem Ring Character to one of the higher quality (tiered) weapons. Since these can be engraved only once, putting off using the service until late-game once the best weapons are unlocked tends to be the right approach.
