Dr. Mario World is a puzzle game from Nintendo for iOS and Android devices released on July 9th, 2019. The game was co-developed by Nintendo, LINE, and NHN. While it is free-to-play, there are microtransactions for more turns, extra items, and unlockable doctors and assistants.
In this game, players must eliminate viruses with a set number of capsules. Matching three colors together destroys them, and there are different objectives for every level. Some levels are a race against the clock, while others are purely elimination challenges.
Single-player mode features various levels to progress through, with a total of forty levels per world. Each world adds a new obstacle and mechanic to the game. Typically, new content releases every other week containing a new batch of twenty stages.
Players can encounter things like bubbles, clouds, ice, crates, and boxes that prevent them from destroying germs quickly. Different doctors can help in specific situations, making some a better choice than others, depending on the scenario. Along with their one doctor of choice, players can also pick two assistants that also grant unique abilities. Below is a full list of Dr. Mario World doctors and assistants.
