The Diablo 2 Resurrected Early Access goes live on August 13, and Blizzard has partnered up with Twitch for some in-game rewards. You can check out the start times in our other post, but you’re probably curious about these Twitch drops. We will explain how you can get your Diablo 2 Resurrected Twitch drops in a few easy steps.
For players who have not yet pre-ordered Diablo 2 Resurrected, now is a perfect opportunity to get in on the hellish action. Watch your favorite streamer for a given amount of time and get your beta invite. It’s really that simple. Let’s outline the process for you a little more in-depth.
Diablo 2 Resurrected Twitch Drops
Time needed: 2 hours and 30 minutes.
How to redeem Diablo 2 Resurrected Twitch Drops
- Connect your Twitch accounts with Battle.net
- Go to a participating live channel
- Watch for 2 hours and 30 minutes
- Claim the D2R Early Access beta
The first step is two make sure your Twitch and Battle.net accounts are linked together. You can double-check this by going to the Twitch Connections page and adding Battle.net. Tap on the Connect button and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the connection procedure.
After you have everything linked, you’ll need to watch one of the participating streamers’ channels for a total of two hours and thirty minutes. Yeah, it’s a bit overkill, we know. But hey, they are trying to pump those Twitch numbers to sell as many copies as possible.
You will need to complete this process within the first twenty-four-hour period of launch. That means you will have until August 14 at 1 PM EST to watch a streamer play Diablo 2 Resurrected for 2h30m. That’s plenty of time to just leave one of your favorite streamers on and go on with your day. Remember, Alt+Tab is a thing.
