The remaster for the classic hack-and-slash, and one of the most popular games of 2000 is finally here. To many peoples’ surprise, Diablo 2 Remastered was one of the major announcements on day one of this year’s BlizzCon online event. The remaster, known as Diablo 2 Remastered, has a technical alpha coming soon, and you can already sign up for it on the official Diablo website.

The game is coming to PC and consoles, including Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 & 5, and Xbox Series X / S with full cross-progressional support.

You can get a peek at the Diablo executive producer Rod Fergusson’s thoughts on Twitter:

Blizzard is finally bringing all of the Diablo games under a single umbrella. There are now three new Diablo titles in development, including Diablo 2 Resurrected, Diablo 4, and Diablo Immortals.

Diablo II Resurrected is coming in 2021 to Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Series S, and Nintendo Switch.
