Destiny 2 Jurassic Green God Roll Guide (2022)

It this the best time-limited weapon ever? Yes - if we're not counting Recluse and Mountaintop.

It’s rare that Destiny 2 has an event weapon that blows the competition out of the water, but that’s exactly what this Jurassic Green god roll does. It’s got one of the best perk combinations in the game, arguably even better than the Smite of Merain god roll.

I’m going to go through this Destiny 2 Jurassic Green god roll perk by perk, explaining what perks you should be looking out for, and why you want them. Jurassic Green is leaving us for at least a year once Festival of the Lost ends. Trust me, you don’t want to miss out on this roll – so get farming.

  • Arrowhead Break.
  • Ricochet Rounds.
  • Subsistence.
  • Incandescent.

One look at this Jurassic Green god roll should tell you why this weapon is so exciting. When it was introduced in 2021, it wasn’t all that special. It’s back for Festival of the Lost 2022 with a whole new perk pool and intrinsic perk, though, and that’s made all the difference.

Arrowhead Break is always a top-tier barrel perk choice regardless of weapon. It’s not all that important, but if you’re looking for a perfect 5/5 roll, it’s what to hunt for. Beyond that, you’ll be fine with any of the ammo perks that add range. I’ve opted for Ricochet Rounds because of its extra utility, but High Caliber and Armor-Piercing will both do just fine.

Now, the reason everybody should be talking about this Jurassic Green roll is because of the Subsistence/Incandescent roll. I’d almost go as far as to say that this is actually the best Incandescent roll in the entire game as of October 2022. The likes of the Calus Mini-Tool and Zaouli’s Bane both have unbelievable Incandescent rolls, but neither of them is as powerful as this.

Not only will Incandescent be lighting up every single AD that has the misfortune of fighting you, but the combination of Subsistence means you’ll be getting off practically indefinite Incandescent triggers. Throw a Solar build on top and you have a recipe for possibly the best AD-clear gun in Destiny 2.

I’m not one for farming event weapons, but this is absolutely a must-have. It probably won’t replace the Calus Mini-Tool in the META, but it’s still an option you want to have at your disposal going forward. Especially while pulse rifles have an Anti-Champion mod.

If you’re going to farm any of the Festival of the Lost 2022 weapons, it should be this one.
