This Destiny 2 Mechabre god roll guide is going to go over the Festival of the Lost 2022’s sniper rifle’s best potential rolls for both PvE and PvP. Getting new seasonal event weapons in Destiny 2 is always fun, especially when it looks as cool as Mechabre does.

I’m going to go over the two best Mechabre god rolls in Destiny 2 – one for PvE, and one for PvP. Keep in mind that this is clearly built as a PvP weapon, so if you were hoping that PvE finally had a META sniper, you’re going to be disappointed.

Destiny 2 – Mechabre PvE God Roll

  • Arrowhead Break
  • Appended Mag
  • Clown Cartridge
  • Vorpal Weapon

This Mechabre Destiny 2 god roll would be my go-to for most PvE activities. In general, Sniper Rifles are only really used for Boss DPS for the majority of PvE difficulties, so that’s what I’ve designed this god roll around. Also, I don’t actually have this god roll myself yet – hence why the image doesn’t match my perk recommendations.

Arrowhead Break is my choice of barrel. It’s arguably the best overall barrel in the game, and it’s perfect for DPS weapons. It gives us a bump to our handling and a buff to our recoil direction, so we can pull our weapon out faster, reload faster, and we’re more likely to hit those all-important precision hits during a DPS phase.

Appended Mag, or something similar, is pretty important for this roll. Mechabre only has three bullets in the mag by default – and that’s pitiful. The one extra bullet Appended Mag will give us works wonders with Clown Cartridge, our column three perk. Clown Cartridge will overflow our magazine on reload randomly, so we’ll always have at least five bullets, if not more, ready to go. That’s a massive improvement over the gun’s base three bullets and makes a massive difference in short DPS phases.

Lastly, I’m advising you to use Vorpal Weapon on your Mechabre PvE god roll. Mechabre isn’t really built for PvE, and Vorpal Weapon is the best perk in column four by a mile for PvE, which is a shame.

Since the Vorpal nerf, it only grants power weapons an extra 10% damage against bosses. Regardless, it’s the best option we’ve got – so take it.

Destiny 2 – Mechabre PvP God Roll

  • Smallbore
  • Accurized Rounds
  • Snapshot Sights
  • Opening Shot

If you’ve been around the Destiny 2 PvP scene for any length of time, then this roll should look familiar to you. It’s a common one for the Crucible folks to run, and that’s because it’s just the best a sniper rifle can get. There’s a specific reason I’m opting for this roll over anything else, though, and it’s not because of how good it is. It’s becuase it’s the roll Eva Levante gives you when you complete the introduction quest for Festival of the Lost 2022.

If you’re playing during the Festival, all you have to do is finish one Haunted Sector to get this roll – no grinding required.

Smallbore and Accurized Rounds both work wonders to pump up Mechabre’s range, while Snapshot Sights gives you an advantage over non-Snapshot users in PvP. Opening Shot is the final cherry on the top, giving you more aim assist, and range on the first bullet you fire every three seconds.

Put that all together, and you have a Mechabre PvP god roll capable of holding its own against the best of the best even in Trials of Osiris.
