Where to Find Tin in Core Keeper

Here are the locations where you can find Tin in Core Keeper:

  • Clay Walls
  • Wooden Boxes

Tin can be found within clay walls around the water areas of Core Keeper. There is no one specific area guaranteed to have Tin, but you’re more likely to find the clay tiles around bodies of water. It is possible to get unlucky and have a very difficult time finding the pinkish-orange tiles that are clay tiles. However, eventually, you should come across some, and that’s where the Tin Nodes will be located.

Tin Ore Core Keeper

Like Copper, Gold, and other metals, Tin Nodes are sparkly, so be on the lookout for the glow in the darkness. As long as you keep your eyes peeled for the clay tiles, you should have no problem finding Tin. Remember, while we mentioned that clay is mostly by water, it does sometimes expand far enough that it’s not really near any water. However, that’s the best tip we can give to help you find it.

You can also pick up the random stray Tin Ore in Wooden Boxes or Treasure Chests. You can break the boxes open with a weapon or tool when you come across them. You’ll sometimes find one or two pieces of Tin this way, but it’s not as reliable and finding a deposit of it.

What is Tin used for in Core Keeper

Tin is used to build the Tin Workbench, which requires the following materials:

  • 1 Wood
  • 6 Copper Bar
  • 15 Tin Bar

Like other metals, you can toss your Tin Ore into the Furnace to refine it into Tin Bars. After building the Tin Workbench, you’ll have access to many new tools, base buildings, and other crafting options.
