Another Cookie Run Kingdom patch is coming on Friday, September 17, 2021. The patch introduces a brand new event including two new cookies and aims to buff two existing cookies: Hollyberry Cookie and Snow Sugar Cookie. The Snow Sugar Cookie was introduced earlier in September and has been receiving lots of attention. We’ll take a look at the complete Cookie Run Kingdom Patch Notes for September 17 down below.
Cookie Run Kingdom will be undergoing maintenance on September 17, 2021, from 6:00 AM to 10 AM (GMT+9). During this time, servers will be unavailable for four hours, and it is possible maintenance gets extended or ends sooner.
Cookie Run Kingdom Patch Notes (September 17 Update)
The Cookie Run Kingdom September 17 patch notes are here, and they have brought us a new limited-time event mode featuring Sonic and Tails! Players can also check out the Moon Rabbit featured gacha for increased chances at finding this Cookie. The update includes a few character tweaks, focusing on Hollyberry Cookie and Snow Sugar Cookie. Hollyberry is a support/defense specialization cookie, and it could be a tough one to utilize properly. Given the changes made in this patch, it looks like it will be a much more viable unit. Additionally, the developers want to give some other buffs to Snow Sugar cookie by increasing some base stats and the Snow King skill.

Sonic’s Green Hill
- Play in the special time-limited event mode (Stages 1-9)!
- In this mode, you can collect Rings that can be used in the Sonic & Tails’ Lucky Item Boxes.
- A ‘Power Sneakers’ item is required to play in this mode: Power Sneakers are refilled with time.
- Clear the stages with Sonic Cookie and Tails Cookie to earn more Rings.
- You can enter Sonic’s Green Hill after clearing Stage 2-8 (Story Mode).
- If you run into any obstacles while running in Green Hill stages, you’ll lose some Rings you obtained in the stage.
- After the event is over, your unused Power Sneakers are converted to coins.
Cookie Run Kingdom Sonic Cookie
- Sonic Cookie is an Ambush Cookie who uses the skill ‘Sonic’s Spin Dash.’
- Sonic Cookie curls up into a ball, spinning rapidly and bursting forward at super speed, dealing DMG to each enemy hit in succession. Increases ATK SPD of all allies.
- The two cookies of the SPECIAL rarity do not appear in the Gacha and can only be obtained through the crossover event.
Cookie Run Kingdom Tails Cookie
- Tails Cookie is an Ambush Cookie who uses the skill ‘Tails’ Spin Dash.’
- Tails curls up into a ball and dashes towards his enemies, dealing DMG to each enemy hit in succession. Upon landing, increases DEF of all allies.
- The two cookies of the SPECIAL rarity do not appear in the Gacha and can only be obtained through the crossover event.
Sonic Crossover Events
- The ‘Daily Gifts from Sonic!’ event has been added.
- The ‘Collect Rings with Sonic & Tails’ event has been added.
- Complete missions and collect Rings. Rings can be used in the ‘Sonic & Tails Lucky Item Boxes’ event.
- The ‘Sonic & Tails’ Lucky Item Boxes!’ Event is added.
- Spend Rings x1,000 to open an Item Box.,
- From the Lucky Item Box, you can obtain random rewards like Sonic Cookie and Tails Cookie’s Soulstones, Crystals, Chaos Emeralds, and various rewards.
- Any remaining Rings will be converted into Coins once the ‘Sonic & Tails’ Lucky Item Boxes!’ event is over. Tap the ‘Rewards’ button to see the rewards you’ve already obtained.
- Once you receive all the items from the Rewards list, the list will be reset, and you will be able to obtain the rewards from the new list.
- The ‘Miraculous Chaos Emeralds’ event has been added.
- Collect Chaos Emeralsa from the Lucky Item Boxes and bring Sonic Cookie and Tails Cookie to your kingdom.
- Collect one of each Chaos Emeralds to claim Sonic Cookie or Tails Cookie.
- Upon first time completing the event, you can Obtain Sonic Cookie. Tails Cookie will appear next. Once you obtain Tails Cookie, Sonic Cookie will appear and so forth.
- Any remaining Chaos Emeralds get converted to Coins once the ‘Miraculous Chaos Emeralds’ event is over.
Epic Moon Rabbit Cookie
- Moon Rabbit Cookie is a Defense Cookie who uses the skills ‘Giant Rice Cake Bunny.’
- After transforming into a Giant Rice Cake bunny, Moon Rabbit Cookie recovers her own HP and jumps up and down, dealing DMG to all enemies. Enemies hit with this skill will be marked with a Healing Rice Cake, and when the marked enemies are defeated, the Healing Cake will restore the HP of all allies. The healing amount will depend on the target. While Moon Tabbit Cookie is using her skill, she will be more resistant to interrupting effects.

Hollyberry Cookie changes
- Skill: Increases the damage concentration-time of ‘Oath on the Shield’ from 6 to 9 seconds.
- Ability: Base defense increased by 30%, and base HP increased by 25%.
Hollyberry’s base stats are being buffed, including her HP and Defense. She will be much tougher to kill after the update.Â
Snow Sugar Cookie changes
- Skill: Increases the caster’s attack power applied to Snow King from 15% to 26%.
- Based on skill level 1.
- Defense and HP are the same as before.
- Ability: Base defense increased by 10% and base HP increased by 10%.
Notably, the Snow King receives an 11% attack power buff, which is relatively significant. Secondly, the Snow Sugar Cookie’s base stats are being increased. Specifically, the cookie’s HP and defense will get a 10% buff.
