One of the ten challenges on the Downhill Jam level in THPS is to collect five hard hats. This challenge is pretty easy and straightforward, but there may be one or two you can’t find. Here are the 5 Hard Hats locations in the Downhill Jam Course for Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2.
Collect 5 Hard Hats Locations in Downhill Jam Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2
The first hard hat is to the left of the starting area. You will need to hit the quarter pipe using some of the speed you get from the first ramp to reach it. After collecting the first hard hat, you can make your way down the course a bit more.
The second hard hat is inside the halfpipe a bit more down the mountain. You can find it on top of the lip on the left side of the pipe. Grind the lip to easily collect it, and work your way towards the next one.
After the halfpipe, make sure to slow down a bit for the next hard hat. There’s a construction sign that reads “WATCH OUT FOR HOLE,” and you can find the third hard hat on the sign. There’s a ramp you can use to jump over to it. Don’t worry if you fall because you will spawn in a good location to try again.
The next hard hat is on another quarter pipe towards the left side of the map. Get some air to pick up the fourth one, and then you can make your way to the right side of the course to grab the last hard hat.
You can find the fifth and final one off the high ramp just before the finish line. That’s all you need to know to collect the 5 Hard Hats in Downhill Jam in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2.
