There are many secrets in THPS, including an unlockable Alien. To unlock the Roswell Alien, you’ll need to find nineteen different Alien Plushies locations in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2. It’s by far the more difficult challenge, mainly because you have to hit every level in the game. After unlocking the Roswell Alien, you also get access to its unique moves, including Warp Speed, Telekickflipsis, and Beam Me Up.
Alien Plushies Locations in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2
Here are all of the Alien Plushies locations by level, starting from the game’s earliest levels:
As soon as you drop down the ramp you spawn on, make a left and hop over the quarterpipe. You should see another quarterpipe with blue graffiti on it that says “RAZ.” Hop up over the lip, and you’ll find the alien plushie in the far right corner.
Dropdown off the green awning and start going in the opposite direction. Hop over the brick ledge onto the grassy gnoll. Take a left, and you will find the alien plushie in the corner up against the brick building.
Get down to the first floor of the mall, and proceed through the level. Go past everything until you get to the big stair set. You can find the alien plushie to your right in the dark corner to the elevator’s left. It’s very dark, so you may not see it unless you increase your brightness.
As soon as you spawn in, turn around and look upwards. You should see a white “Vans Park Series” banner. Use the red quarterpipe to get up onto the ledge. Then, wallride to get on top of the announcer’s booth. The alien plushie is up next to a steel beam.
Head up to the rooftop, either through the secret tunnel or through the back way. Go to the area with the wooden quarterpipes. As soon as you enter the area, go to the far right corner, and slowly hop over the lip. You will find the alien plushie over there on a small part of the roof.
- Downhill Jam
Perhaps the easiest one to find on the list. As soon as you load into the game, turn around. You should see the alien plushie in the back right corner if you are facing backward.
As soon as you load in, take a left, and you should see a quarterpipe with some sort of animal graffiti on it. Follow the quarterpipe to the right, and you’ll notice it connect to a vertical concrete pillar. The alien plushie is on top of the beam. You need to angle your jump just right so you land up there. It will likely take you a few tries unless you are good at this sort of thing.
When you load in, go down the big set of stairs until you hit the street. Take a right, and stop in front of the Margo’s Diner with the cop car. The alien plushie is on top of the diner. You can hop up on the rooftop from the left side.
When you load in, hop off the ramp and go left down the path. You’ll see a metal looking door. Approach the door, and it should open up for you. There’s a bowl in this room, and the alien plushie is on top of the lip. It’s on the left side, just above where you enter into the room.
- The Hanger
Open up the secret room by grinding on the chopper blades. Enter into the room and head to the left. The alien plushie is in the far left corner as soon as you enter.
- School II
When you spawn in, take a right down the hallway with the handrail. Continue towards the library. Your goal is to get on top of the library and hop to the green roof to its left. When you’re on the green roof, you will find the alien plushie near the middle in the cubby.
When you load into the level, go straight. Along the back wall, there’s a boarded-up wall you need to open up. Skate around the light post in front of the boards to open up the area. Drop down the hole, and you’ll load into a new zone. Head to the center of the room and go left, and you’ll see the alien plushie between a railing and a quarterpipe.
- NY City
When you spawn in, take a right and hop down over the ledge to Joey’s Place. On the opposite side of this plaza, you can find the alien plushie behind the planters.
- Venice Beach
When you spawn in, go left towards the quarterpipe with the “OTTO” graffiti. You need to hop over the wall and onto the boardwalk. The alien plushie is on the wall closest to you when you hop over.
Skatestreet was a bit confusing for me because the gate was closed. You need to grind two specific spots to open up both of the gates to get outside. When the gates are open, go straight and to the left when you load into the game. Go right as soon as you are outside to the quarterpipe.
The plushie is on a pillar straight above and to the right. Angle yourself slightly to the right and get some air to collect the alien plushie. We recommend watching the video at the end of this post if you need help.
Open up the secret area by grinding on the electrical wire connected to the telephone pole. Continue straight into the hidden zone, and you can find the alien plushie behind the halfpipe.
- The Bullring
When you load into the zone, go left out of the halfpipe. Hit the red quarterpipe surrounding the outside of the zone, and launch yourself into the stands. You can find the alien plushie in that area against the fence.
- Chopper Drop
On the opposite side of the halfpipe, you can see part of the ramp where the lip is lower. You can find the alien plushie up there, so try and hop up there gently and avoid falling off the edge.
- Skate Heaven
Skate Heaven is probably one of the most challenging plushies to collect. You need to activate the volcano by grinding the blue pipe and getting the “Time 2 Feed The Volcano!!!” prompt. Hop inside the volcano and load into the hidden area. Once inside, you can find the alien plushie behind the halfpipe.
