Every level in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 has a secret tape, and it’s usually in a difficult spot to reach. The one on Venice Beach is no different, and you probably already know where it is. We’ll show you how to get the Secret Tape on Venice Beach in THPS with no problem in this guide. Read on if you’re having trouble.

How to get the Secret Tape on Venice Beach in THPS

The Secret Tape is up on a wire in the central area of the Venice Beach skate park. You can see it on top of the streamers for “Save the Art,” “Save the Pit,” and “Venice Pavilion.” Now, how exactly do you get up there?

We recommend first filling up your special meter because this can give you some extra boost, air, and hangtime. Once that’s done, you need to hit the bank to boost yourself up there. In between the two handrails is a small hexagonal cement structure. Hit the side of this to boost yourself up to the wire.

Next, make sure you get ready to grind the wire. You don’t quite get enough air to snag the tape out of the air. For that reason, you need to grind the wire to make it over to the Secret Tape. Once you manage to do that, the tape is yours!
