Can You Change Pilot’s Name in Armored Core 6?

When you first start out in Armored Cored 6, you’ll be able to fill out your Pilot’s name. This could be a reference to real or fictitious pilots, or simply name the pilot after yourself. But like most things in Armored Core, changing attributes comes with the territory. From ACs to decals, the amount of customization in the game is almost endless. Because of this, players progressing through the game might want to change up their name from time to time. We’re going to dive straight in and answer the question: can you change pilot’s name in Armored Core 6?

Can You Change Pilot’s Name in Armored Core 6?

As we stated above, players are able to name their pilot at the beginning of Armored Core 6. However, this isn’t the only time you’ll be able to change it. Since there are a numerous amount of customization options in AC6, changing your name can be done at the flick of the wrist. In between any mission, you’ll notice there is a menu on the right side of the screen. This menu shows the player their mercenary license, comprised of your name, emblem, arena rank, and hunter class.

In order to change your pilot name in AC6, you’ll need to access the merc license menu. From here, you’ll be given a couple of menu choices from viewing tips, archives, editing your emblem, and of course, editing your pilot name. You can then rename your pilot to anything you want, and continue your quest to become the best merc on Rubicon.
