Call of Duty: Warzone players were met with an unexpected error this evening when the Battle.net servers went offline. Players all started seeing the following message around the same time:

“Connection to the Blizzard game server has been lost. Please exit and try again. Error Code: BLZBNTBGS000003F8”

After clicking ‘Quit to Desktop’, the Battle.net client is closed and you are forced into a login queue. Blizzard is currently experiencing issues with their authentication servers.

According to the official Blizzard Customer Service account on Twitter, users will have failed and slow login attempts. This issue reportedly caused outages for a variety of Blizzard/Activision games including World of Warcraft and Call of Duty.

Users are still reporting disconnection issues for Call of Duty, and there is now also a queue time after launching the game. We’ll keep you posted when we learn more.
