Call of Duty: Warzone DEV ERROR 6068 Fix

Call of Duty: Warzone has had a pretty solid release thus far and players have really been enjoying Activision’s newest take on the Battle Royale genre. But with all the good there comes some bad, the game has been plagued with random crashes and optimization issues.

One error that players have been dealing with has been a fatal crash which freezes the game and then shows the message:

DirectX encountered an unrecoverable error

Call of Duty: Warzone Dev Error 6068 Fix

  1. Open up your File Explorer
  2. Navigate to Documents\Call of Duty Modern Warfare\players
  3. Open up the adv_options.ini file
  4. Find the line that says VideoMemoryScale
  5. Change the value to 0.5
