Players can now also access the bunkers scattered around Verdansk. Earlier in the month, players were scrambling to figure out the purpose of the Red Access Cards. The rumor was that these cards can be used to gain access to the bunkers. But, after a lot of testing from the community, this was not the case.

It turns out the speculators were right, and with the new patch the Red Access Cards finally unlock the bunkers. One Warzone player was among the first to gain access to the Bunker, which you can see in the video here.

Bunkers contain a bunch of different high-tier loot, including legendary weapons. The bunkers will likely serve a crucial role in Warzone Battle Royale mode, as players scramble to get geared out as quick as possible.

In the video, you can see the players stumble across about 5 or 6 supply crates. The players then come across another door that now presents another mystery. What’s in the other door?

You can see if you have a Red Access Key Card from your UI screen now. If you do, head over to a bunker and unlock it for some awesome loot. We have another clue in the patch notes from Infinity Ward. At the end of the notes, a redacted message says:

“Numer station <redacted> is Protocol Yellow. Activate <redacted> system. <redacted> is inbound. Awaiting correct authorization.”

We anticipate more details will be announced in the run-up to Season 4, which is set to roll out on May 26.
