Best Technomancer Build in Outriders

Best Technomancer Build in Outriders

Technomancer is one of the four playable classes in Outriders, and it’s perhaps the most beneficial class for group play. It is still great for solo players, especially with the build we outline below. For this build, we’ll be optimizing everything for Blighted Rounds to maximize damage. We are building out the Pestilence class tree and maximizing the damage output and crowd control effectiveness. Here’s a look at our best Technomancer build in Outriders.

Best Technomancer Skills

Here are the three skills we’ll be using for our best Technomancer build in Outriders:

  • Blighted Rounds
  • Blighted Turret
  • Cold Snap

The core of this build is based on Blighted Rounds, which turns your bullets Toxic. Armor does not mitigate Anomaly-infused bullets, meaning it will deal even more damage than usual. Blighted Turret is another powerful skill, which places a turret that deals toxic damage. We’ll be utilizing a mod to take this skill to the next level.

Cold Snap drops a gadget to inflict Freeze onto all enemies within a range radius around you. This skill is our area-of-effect and crowd control utility, great for moments when you get swarmed with tons of enemies. Combined with Blighted Turret, we’ll have a lot of crowd-control on this build.

Technomancer Class Tree

The main thing to focus on in the Technomaner class tree is boosting the weapon damage as much as possible. For this build, we’ll be placing points into the Pestilence tree. Here’s a look at the skills:

  • Br/8 Impact Amplifier: Increases weapon damage by 8%.
  • Sower of Decay: Reduce DECAY skills Cooldown by 15%.
  • Drill Coating: Increase Armor Piercing by 10%.
  • Suction Module: Increases weapon leech by 5%.
  • Sniper Master: Increase sniper weapon damage by 20%.
  • BL-STM Havoc Nexus: Increases critical damage by 15%.
  • Exposing Toxin: Every time Toxic afflicted on an enemy, Vulnerable status is applied as well.
  • Marked for Execution: Vulnerable afflicted on an enemy is 40% more effective.
  • Nitrogen Capsules: Decreases the distance considered to be Long Range by 3 meters.
  • Nitrogen Capsules: Decreases the distance considered to be Long Range by 3 meters.
  • Br/8 Impact Amplifier: Increases weapon damage by 8%.
  • Purge: Enemies afflicted with Toxic receive 10% more damage.
  • Br/8 Impact Amplifier: Increases weapon damage by 8%.
  • Sniper Adept: Increase your Sniper Weapon Damage by 12%.
  • Drill Coating: Increase your Armor Piercing by 10%.
  • Two Sides of the Power: Increases damage from all sources by 15% and dealt by 20%.
  • Sharpshooter: Increases Long Range weapon damage by 30%.
  • UT-14 Clips: Increases magazine size by 50%.
  • Purge: Enemies afflicted with Toxic receive 10% more damage.
  • Empowering Antenna: Activating DECAY increases weapon damage for you and your allies by 40% for 10 seconds.

There are a few things to note about our class tree setup. First, you can swap out the Sniper bonus damage for Assault if you prefer running that weapon type. Second, we already know Armor Piercing doesn’t matter, but we’re picking up the talents in the tree so we can get to the ones we need. For our setup, we optimize sniper and long-range damage. We’ll be going for the long-range attribute on our gear.

Technomancer Gear and Mods

The main goal of your gear choices here is to optimize your Blighted Rounds uptime. One of the essential mods for Blighted Rounds is Trick up the Sleeve, which causes Blighted Rounds to grant you 30% extra bullets in your mag for each kill shot while it’s active. Combine this with something like Toxic Lead, for another 40% ammo replenish whenever an enemy is afflicted with Toxic. Spare Mag will also drastically increase uptime by making Blighted Rounds active for an extra clip. You’ll also want to pick up Critical Analysis to increase critical damage by 30%.

For Blighted Turret, you will want to pick up Ice Component, as it makes the turret increase Freeze instead of Toxic. Another good option is Long Winter to improve the radius of the skill.

In terms of Tier 2 mods, you can go with things like Mitigation From Death and High-Velocity Bullets if you’re rocking a sniper. These mods are a bit harder to get, so take what you can get.

For attributes, focus on Long-Range Bonus Damage and Bonus Firepower. Also, consider Weapon Leech and Skill Leech as they will be our primary healing sources.

There’s our setup for the best Technomancer build in Outriders. Not only is this an excellent leveling build, but it also excels in the endgame content as well. For more builds, you can check out our Pyromancer, Trickster, and Devastator setups.
